Staff here at Burgess Group, Inc. has had experience commissioning other projects such as wastewater treatment facilities, manufacturing, engineering and pharmaceutical facilities.

Example projects that Burgess Group staff has commissioned or retro-commissioned include, City of San Diego Northwestern Division Police Station, Unisys-Rancho Bernardo 20,000 sf Office Addition, Biola University Central Plant, and San Diego Children’s Hospital Pediatric Specialty Medical Office Building.

Construction Claims
Burgess Group, Inc. recognizes that contractors and owners have special needs for analysis and development of contract claims which they can’t completely satisfy in-house. Two decades of successful claims support lends credence to our methods.

The latest computer programs and techniques are utilized - such as Primavera Project Planner - to help us understand and present the issues at stake. Computer animated sequences, digital slide presentations and the production of on-site videos all help demonstrate events and impacts and are a part of Burgess Group’s skills and experience.

We know that the Courts have a need for straightforward, professional and on-time delivery of the fact base to resolve complicated civil cases. The potential for advocacy among experts can be a problem. To maintain credibility, Burgess Group strictly interprets the codes and standards to avoid the possibility of different defense and plaintiff positions on the same issue.

HVAC and Plumbing Engineering
Burgess Group, Inc. has registered professional mechanical engineers on staff to provide the necessary skill and expertise to develop mechanical designs for all types of projects including commercial, institutional, manufacturing, and residential.

We utilize REVIT/AutoCAD MEP 2008 to provide the necessary format for presenting the designs for plumbing, heating, ventilating and air conditioning.
